In 1989, the weekly worship services were held in the AVA room of Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Secondary School. Sunday School classes were conducted in the classrooms there. As in all mission schools, the Chaplain’s office was also situated in the school.
With limited seating capacity (maximum 110) in the AVA room and faced with a growing number in worshippers, the AVA Room was beginning to prove to be too small. The school hall, though could accommodate much more was not conducive as the acoustics were found to be lacking. |
